Hair: hair is such an important part of body which not only decides our overall appearance but also protect the underline skin. How ever most of us are knowingly or unknowingly doing things on a daily basis which damage our hair. This leads to excessive hair loss, dandruff, premature graying of hair much more. 
Structure Of Hair: The hair shaft is comprised of three layers. 

         The cuticle is the outermost layer. Made of flattened cells that overlap like the tiles on a terra-cotta roof. 
           The cuticle protects the inside of the hair shaft from damage.

       Cortex: The middle structure includes the cortex which provides strength, color and texture of the hair. 
             The innermost structure is the      medulla layer which is only present in large thick hairs.

       Medulla: The medulla is the innermost layer of the hair shaft.This nearly invisible layer is the most soft and fragile, and serves as the pith or marrow of the hair.

Cause of hair damage and hair fall:

  • Using hair products having too many          harsh chemicals
  • Not oiling the scalp 
  • Not dealing well with wet hair

1.Nutrition: if the body is divide of nutrients one thing it can afford to lose is hair. What do you thinks that it can survive without single hair on the head. So it's stops making hair start taking care of other organs. 
         These days fast food, colas, artificial sweeteners and packaged juices part of everyone's diet. This should be controlled. 
Hair strands are made up of protein. So we should include daily dose of protein in diet. Panner, pulses, lentils, soya chunks, eggs, chicken and fish are all high in protein. 
                     Healthy fats and omega 3 rich foods like almonds, cashews, walnuts and flaxseeds also be a part of daily diet.                  Iron found in leafy vegetables, vitamin C found in amla and lemon and vitamin B found in Oats and other whole grains are very essential to prevent hair loss.
